Sensaura Supported Games Sensaura supports all open 3D sound APIs. Any game that supports 3D audio using any of these APIs will automatically support Sensaura technology. For compatibility with early 3D audio titles, Sensaura also provides legacy support for the A3D 1.x API. Sensauras MacroFXÔ enables game developers to be able to take advantage of near-field in your ear effects, adding a further dimension to the realism of their game. Sensauras ZoomFXÔ will soon enable game developers to represent realistic big sound sources in their games, thus adding to the immersiveness of the experience. Sensauras ZoomFX API will be a property set extension of Microsofts Direct Sound 3D (DS3D). Following excellent initial feedback from key developer organisations, Sensauras ZoomFX will be rolled out to all developers in late 1999. No shipped game currently implements ZoomFX, but games using this technology are expected during early 2000. I3DL2 is an open API standard for effects such as reverb and occlusion that has only been recently released by the IASIG (IASIG members include all the 3D sound technology providers). It is expected that I3DL2 will receive native support in a future version of DirectX thus making it the reverb API of choice. Increasing numbers of games are expected to support I3DL2. Support for the I3DL2 API is already present in the latest Sensaura drivers. The EAX and I3DL2 APIs are implemented on top of the Sensaura EnvironmentFXÔ reverb technology. The Sensaura supported games list is continually evolving. Here's the most up-to-date list (Now rather out of date)
