Meanwhile, A1 and J1’s “Latest Trends” lifts into second place, while KSI’s “Patience” (BMG/Interscope) featuring Yungblud and Polo G is set for the week’s highest debut. It’s at No. 3 on the midweeks.

Blackpink’s Rosé could start her solo career with a Top 40 hit, as her debut release “On The Ground” (Interscope) opens at No. 32 on the midweek survey.

Over on the chart race, Tom Grennan is on the road to the chart crown with his sophomore album, Evering Road (Insanity).

The British singer-songwriter tops the U.K.’s Albums Chart Update, and holds a lead of 1,700 combined units over the second-placed LP, Thunder’s All The Right Noises (BMG), the OCC reports. Grennan’s debut album, 2018’s Lighting Matches, peaked at No. 5.

London rapper Central Cee takes third spot with his debut mixtape Wild West (Central Cee), the most-streamed album of the week so far, while indie-pop artist RJ Thompson is close behind in fourth spot with Lifeline (Codename), the most downloaded album of the past weekend, according to the OCC.

Yungblud completes the Top 5 with Weird! (Interscope). The Brit’s former chart-leader reenters the tally following his Yungblud Show livestream and the release of “Patience,” his high-flying collaboration with KSI.

Also, new releases from Rob Zombie, Selena Gomez and the late David Bowie are poised to crack the Top 10 on debut.

The Official U.K. Singles and Albums Chart are published late Friday, local time.
