Is Linda pregnant in EastEnders?
There’s a bombshell for the Carters in EastEnders, when Linda thinks she might be pregnant. While meddling in Nancy’s life, she arrives at a clinic to meet her daughter’s doctor – but ends up as the patient herself!
Linda has been on a mission ever since she discovered that Nancy is making a big medical decision about her future. But when Linda starts to feel faint, a concerned doctor offers to examine her – and the truth comes out…
She’s had her suspicions about being pregnant, but the hot flushes she was having also made her think that she could be starting the menopause early. In addition, all the chaos at home has distracted Linda from properly putting two and two together. Nancy’s return has set the cat among the pigeons at the Vic, particularly as she’s clashing with her mum.
Having found out why Nancy is back in Walford, and what her intentions are, Linda is beside herself with worry. Mick tries to warn his missus not to make things worse by taking on their headstrong daughter, but Linda is certain that she has to stop Nancy from making a terrible mistake.
After another fight, Linda takes matters into her own hands and calls Nancy’s doctor – having been tipped off by worried Frankie. And after the fainting incident, Linda returns home, where she’s confronted by furious Mick and Nancy. Things turn nasty as mother and daughter exchange harsh words, leaving Mick in despair at the state of their relationship. However, following Linda’s unplanned consultation with the doctor, Mick will soon have other matters to worry about, as he could be about to become a dad again.
But let’s not forget, Linda did the unthinkable late last year when she began an affair with Max Branning. We know that the couple slept together, and that Linda bitterly regretted it. Linda and Mick have tried to put it behind them, but what if Linda discovered she was carrying Max’s child? Might he even return to lay claim to the baby?
